Jillie Capstick makes her beautiful pictures in a tiny studio set at the bottom of her
garden in the picturesque village of Shere.
She produces a wide range of paintings ranging in subject from wild flower
paintings, through to still life, landscapes and nudes.
Her first wild flower painting was sold to the Italian fashion house Max Mara and
formed the basis of a series of silk prints and designs for the Weekend Autumn and
Winter collection 2018/19.
Favourite contemporary artists who have inspired her are Kurt Jackson and Ben
McLeod, but her own photographs are often the starting point for a new piece of work
